The boy who was inspired

Murray Ball was Peter's hero when he was growing up as a wee lad. The Christmas treat each year was the latest Footrot Flats book. 

Peter shared the story with us on how he used to absorb and study the characters, practising his own drawing for hours on end. 

Then late last year, joy upon joy, he was asked by Scholastic to help design Murray's latest title. 

It's just come back from the printers - a life in full circle. Awesome!
