Wonky Donkey a Honky Tonky Success

Life's been really crazy for the past 5 weeks and then everything just crashed and we've gone really quiet. Yuk! not our favourite way to be at all.
But then, you know, out of the blue comes the most amazing things.
The day started with an email from Sheila Sinclair from The Children's Bookshop saying I need to read the front page of the Christchurch Press. I had to rush out to buy one and then stand in the shop with tears in my eyes. Craig Smith - you're a legend! Thank you so much for thinking to acknowledge us. This book has been special from day one and to now be included in the ride is just fantastic!
We'd just like to do a wee shout out and congrats to Scholastic, Craig Smith and Katz Cowley.
Wonky Donkey, a brand new children's picture book, is really hitting the headlines and has become a tale of runaway success. With such fabulous verse and awesome illustrations, Anita found designing this book an easy and pleasurable task.
It's fantastic to be part of this wonderful ride. Thanks so much to the Scholastic team for inviting us along.
Check out the front page of this mornings Christchurch Press or http://www.stuff.co.nz/the-press/news/3141073/Honky-tonky-kind-of-tale-a-runaway-success/
And wouldn't you know it, but the work is also picking up and the chances of us being bored until Christmas are very slim.
Thanks heaps everyone - this is why we come to work everyday.
